From "The Guardian" in 2010

What is your greatest fear?
Needles.

Which living person do you most admire, and why?
Wow, so many – Robert De Niro, James Cameron, Will Smith.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
Loving sweets and ice-cream.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?
When people are not organised.

What is your most treasured possession?
Happiness and peace.

Where would you like to live?
I feel like I have lived all over the world since I get to go everywhere to film. I couldn't live in Norway, though, because the sun doesn't go down until 11pm. I'd never sleep!

What do you most dislike about your appearance?
Now I am older, I understand we have to accept who we are.

If you could bring something extinct back to life, what would you choose?
Dinosaurs.

What is your most unappealing habit?
I love to clean.

What would be your fancy dress costume of choice?
An avatar.

What is the worst thing anyone's said to you?
That I couldn't make it.

What is the love of your life?
Charity. I like to give back.

What does love feel like?
Ice-cream.

Who would you invite to your dream dinner party?
Michael Jackson. He called me once, but I didn't get to speak to him.

If you could go back in time, where would you go?
Back to when I was little and used to watch my dad cook in Australia.

When did you last cry, and why?
In Mongolia a week ago. I was on a charity trip, and the family's story was so sad. The translator was crying and it made me cry, too.

What is the closest you've come to death?
During Armour Of God, when I fell off a tree.

What keeps you awake at night?
When I see a movie that keeps me thinking. Or if I have an idea for my next film, I will write it down on the notepad next to my bed.

What song would you like played at your funeral?
I haven't thought about that.

How would you like to be remembered?
Playful, fun and nice Jackie Chan.

What is the most important lesson life has taught you?
Never give up. Go for your dreams.

Where would you most like to be right now?
I am happy where I am.

Tell us a secret
I have a metal plate in my head, and can pop my shoulder and pop it back.
