New Shaolin Temple has quietly started filming in Hengdian. Andy Lau, Nicholos Tse and Fan Bingbing are on-set.
The story is neither a remake nor a sequel to the classic 'Shaolin Temple'. It tells the story of the resistance of the Shaolin Monks to an evil warlord. The monks then embark on a courageous rescue and escape plan.
The film is directed by Benny Chan.
